At the very least you're going to need to make use of heavy bands, if not other options like kettlebells/dumbbells, sandbags, or barbells. Especially for hip hinging movements, which can be loaded very heavily. Hamstrings are very simple to train, but they are also one of the muscles I'd argue would benefit the most from external load. ![]() I'm working on a glute guide as well, which is a separate post because the glutes are complicated and I have some reading to do. This hamstring guide is the counterpart to my earlier quad training post, and will be the go-to guide for "leg pulling" exercises. We do not frown on weights or barbells as another tool for training.
